7 WWE Women's Feuds That Should Have Been Better

There's little doubt why this won Worst Feud of the Year in 2015 for Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Although this was the trigger point for the dubbed 'Divas Revolution', with Stephanie McMahon herself introducing the NXT Divas, this feud was mismanaged, overcrowded, and made little sense. Why did Sasha Banks, the current NXT Women's Champion, align herself with Naomi and Tamina, neither of whom had held championship gold at that point? What exactly was the point of the three teams competing against each other? Most importantly, why was Nikki Bella's Divas Championship not the center point of the entire rivalry?

The debut of Charlotte, Sasha, and Becky Lynch was a breath of fresh air. The three women had flourished in NXT, just as Paige had before them. Fans were demanding similar opportunities for the main roster women. WWE gave them the NXT Divas... but with a lack of real direction, storytelling or an actual point as to why they were there.

The lack of focus on the butterfly belt seemed to prove that the company were stalling, wasting time with multi-women matches until Nikki Bella could beat AJ Lee's historic reign. Almost every superstar has come a long way since their respective team disbanded and WWE are quick to put this misfire behind them.
