7 WWE Wrestlers That Reinvented Themselves In 2016

3. The Usos

To put into perspective how long The Usos have been around, they debuted on the main roster only mere months ahead of the aforementioned Naomi in the spring of 2010. They floundered for a while before settling into a fan favorite role the following year, and while they garnered an immense amount of popularity as babyfaces, they were beyond stagnant by the summer of 2016.

Fans loathed seeing The Usos challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship because they have been overexposed for the past year. Needless to say, a heel turn was necessary, and when they finally pulled the trigger in September, it was apparent that even they were yearning for a change in character.

The Usos' transformation thus far has been stellar to see considering they have altered everything about themselves from their entrance to their attitude to even their attire. Their feud with American Alpha has also produced a handful of fun matches, bringing life to what could have been a dull tag team division on SmackDown Live.

When they do eventually capture the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, it won't feel like a rehash because they have yet to hold the twin titles as heels.
