To be fair, No Way Jose was never going to get beyond a certain level in WWE. He was prominently featured for a few months upon his arrival in April 2016 but was never pushed again for the remainder of his run on the brand afterward.

Although he was almost always positioned as NXT's designated jobber, at least viewers could always expect a fun time whenever he entered the Full Sail arena. His theme song was so addictive and so catchy that he instantly became a fan favorite, and he was still making fans dance up until he was promoted to Raw in April 2018.

While WWE didn't alter his theme song at all when he was moved to the main roster, they did tweak his actual entrance a bit by giving him the same corny conga line that used to accompany Adam Rose to the ring. Once fans saw that, Jose immediately lost credibility in their eyes.

Fans figured WWE would get tired of the conga line after a while and go back to having Jose come out by himself, but it remains a thing over a year and a half later. Unsurprisingly, Jose's Raw appearances have been few and far between.
