He may be another RAW superstar, but Roman Reigns is currently the highest profile name not to have a rumoured match at SummerSlam. Whilst taking two clean pins in two nights might make it seem like Reigns is being punished, WWE isn't going to completely pull the rug out from underneath the former Champion.

Reigns is going to be featured on the SummerSlam card for sure, and I'm pretty sure it isn't going to be in a show opening multi-man match. Looking at the RAW roster throws up some interesting matches for Reigns in the shape of Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho, but none of those matches seem particularly likely either.

There is an easy story to be told with the former Shield brethren, accentuated by the fact that Ambrose is yet to beat Reigns in a one-on-one match. It would be incredibly risky of Shane and Bryan to allow their champion to be challenged by a top RAW superstar this early into the brand split, but never underestimate the power of goading in professional wrestling.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
