8 Best Wrestling Stables In The World Today

2. The New Day

The New Day has held the WWE Tag Team Championships for over 325 days.

Let that sink in for a moment, then hop into the nearest DeLorean and travel back to WrestleMania 31, where the trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods were booed out of Levi's Stadium, the "Power of Positivity" act dying a miserable death in front of the most vocal fans on the planet.

Few could have imagined some over-the-top humour, pop culture references, insanely ridiculous t-shirts and a few plastic unicorn horns could give way to one of the most over acts in the entire industry.

The New Day has succeeded as both heels and babyfaces, champions and challengers. They have risen to the occasion and beaten everyone from opening match clowns The Social Outcasts to main event-worthy faction The Club. They have shared the ring with The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and Steve Austin and are regularly on the receiving end of the loudest ovations of the night.

Win or lose, they have helped make wrestling fun again.

With an impending showdown with The Wyatt Family up next, there is a very real possibility that Kingston, E and Woods drop the belts. Whether they can remain a single unit as the WWE Draft approaches is the even bigger question facing them as they try to remain one of the two most dominant and effective stables in the game.
