8 Big Reasons WWE Fans Should Be Excited For WrestleMania 32

8. Kalisto As US Champ Could Mean A Ladder Match For The Title

We were all worried when we saw that the pre-show bout was scheduled to be Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio for the United States Championship at Fastlane. Most wrestling fans figured that Del Rio would strip Kalisto of the title, forcing the ever-so-talented and underappreciated grappler to succumb to a tag team clusterwhat with partner Sin Cara against many other teams at WrestleMania instead of being given a proper singles title run, which he undoubtedly deserves. The guy is as smooth as silk in the ring, and pulls off the type of craziness that fans haven€™t witnessed on worldwide televised wrestling programs since the likes of Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero. With Kalisto retaining the title at Fastlane, it spells good things for the undercard of WrestleMania. At least one of the two mid-card championships will likely be utilized in a group setting, pitting a handful of competitors against one another, and it certainly feels likely that the United States Championship could be placed in a Ladder Match-type scenario like we saw last year when Daniel Bryan captured the Intercontinental title. This would be a great way to get wrestlers such as the talented Neville onto a WrestleMania card in a proper, positive way, as opposed to being thrust onto the pre-show via the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, or perhaps used as a way to finally get Dolph Ziggler out of the way for Kevin Owens€™ ascending superstardom. Even if this doesn€™t come to fruition, having a talented champion in a meaningful singles bout is titillating.
