8 Biggest Chop Masters In Wrestling History

6. Roderick Strong

Roderick Strong is one of the most accomplished wrestlers on the independent circuit. He has wrestled for Pro Wrestling Guerilla, ROH, TNA, among other places, and has a wide repertoire of impressive signature and finishing maneuvers.

Of course, it seems as though every skilled wrestler needs to know how to pull off a great chop, and sure enough, Roderick Strong does.

Though not as loud as some other chop masters on this list (due in part to lower-quality acoustics in the venues he’s wrestling in), Strong still manages to hit his opponent with such devastating force that no matter how tough they might think they are or how much pain they think they can withstand, they will be screaming, grabbing their chests, and squirming in pain afterwards.

Strong’s reputation on the independent circuit as one of the best chop masters has certainly helped him make a name for himself. His chops always look vicious, and when you watch them, you tend to feel sympathy for those who are unfortunate enough to have to take those chops.

Whether he’s hitting them in the chest, in the face, or on some other body part, Roderick Strong takes no prisoners when it comes to backhand chops. No matter how tough you are, if you think that you can stand there and take a Roderick Strong chop without getting winded, getting knocked backwards or knocked to the floor, think again.
