3. Bret Hart Vs. Owen Hart - Cage Match, 1994

SummerSlam 1994 was the end of the best brother versus brother storyline in WWE history, when WWE Champion Bret Hart looked to defeat his younger brother Owen in a steel cage match. It was a rivalry that stretched back to the 1993 Survivor Series, and picked up steam at the 1994 Royal Rumble when Owen "kicked Bret's leg out of his leg." The rivalry would get a little more personal when Owen upset Bret in the opening contest of WrestleMania X. Bret won the WWE Championship that night, and just about everyone knew he would have to face Owen again down the line. The SummerSlam match would be made official with Owen Hart's King of The Ring victory in June. Simply put, these two produced one of the best cage matches of all-time, blood or not. WWE had a strict no blading policy at the time, so a contest built around the drama of escaping the cage was designed to make up for the lack of gore. The pinnacle of this match was a superplex from the top of the steel cage, which couldn't have been fun for either man. After 30-plus minutes, Bret took advantage of Owen's legs being trapped between the blue bars, and escaped to vanquish his younger brother. Their tremendous chemistry, and storyline which hit its climax that night, would launch this match to legendary status. This would be Owen's highest profile outing in his career, while Bret added to his SummerSlam legacy.
