8 Burning Questions That Need Answering At WWE Royal Rumble
4. Who Will Make Their Shocking Return?
Rumors already are circulating that Randy Orton and Sheamus both could make their returns at Sundays Rumble match. Both men are main-event-caliber performers and would be welcome additions to the active roster again. It will be interesting if they return to see how they are portrayed. When we last saw Orton, he was a member of the Authority but was on a slow burn toward a good guy, getting put out of action by Seth Rollins. Sheamus was going nowhere as a babyface when he was put on the shelf. Could both men flip roles? In addition to injured wrestlers, the Rumble also is well known for providing a platform for WWE Hall of Famers and legends to return for one night only. Weve seen Booker T, Kevin Nash, Jim Duggan and Roddy Piper return in past Rumbles, so its entirely possible we could see a star from the 90s or early 2000s walk the aisle. The Rumble is in Philly, so perhaps some former ECW mainstays like the Dudley Boyz could return (which is also rumored). Also keep an eye out for guys like Mark Henry (not seen since Survivor Series) or Batista as surprise entrants. While its possible none of these guys are in the Rumble, part of the fun of this event is speculating and seeing what unfolds after each countdown.
