8 Changes To Make Bray Wyatt A Success In WWE

6. More Direction In Promos

A few years ago, Bray Wyatt was up there with Paul Heyman as one of the best mic men in WWE. During his rivalry with John Cena, Wyatt concocted some of the most interesting promo segments WWE television has produced in a very long time, including a memorable story about a "mean, old teacher" back in 2014 and a segment in which he menaced Jerry Lawler.

That incarnation of Bray Wyatt has been gradually eroded away in the intervening years. His promos are now largely inconsequential babble, directed vaguely in the direction of whoever he happens to be feuding with at the time. It's fair to say that the likes of Ryback are not suited to the same style of promo as John Cena, despite the best efforts of Wyatt to sell it.

Wyatt was once known as The Man of 1000 Truths - and it's that version of his character that needs to return in order to harness the terrifying, sinister charisma that made him such a star in the early part of his WWE career. The company would be smart to allocate a particular writer or team of writers to Wyatt in order to ensure more of a clear focus.
