8 Changes To Make Bray Wyatt A Success In WWE

The mysterious figure of Sister Abigail looms large over the Bray Wyatt character. From the Eater of Worlds' first appearances, he has discussed Abigail as a guiding light for his quest to change the world. She is a sinister presence, one who remains threatening for as long as she is hidden.

In October last year, it briefly appeared as if the WWE Universe was finally going to experience Sister Abigail for themselves. Wyatt seemed to channel the presence of Abigail during promos with Finn Bálor and a match was set for Bálor's Demon alter ego to take on Wyatt, as Abigail. The match was scuppered due to Wyatt falling ill, and Bálor went on to have a great contest with AJ Styles instead.

This was a blessing in disguise. The Sister Abigail angle was subject to ridicule online and there's very little chance that the match would've worked. WWE is hinting at Abigail again as part of the feud between Wyatt and Matt Hardy, but they should leave that idea on the shelf where it belongs.
