8 Changes To Revitalize WWE Tough Enough

3. Put Them On The Road

These men and women really don't have any idea what they're in for if they actually make it into the WWE. The grind of the travel, being away from your family 300-plus days a year, the demands of the public, the wear and tear on your body and the politics of the environment are all incredibly taxing. Living in a "barrack" is not. Sure they were put through some grueling workouts, but nothing remotely resembling what a wrestler's life is like. A great idea would be to take each contestant and assign them to their own WWE superstar for a week, where they have to spend the entire seven days shadowing their companion. Stay in the same hotels, ride in the same car, eat at the same restaurants, in and out of bed at the same times. If their wrestler hits the gym at 6:00 AM for a workout before doing a three hour press junket and then catches a flight to the next town for a live event, they have to tag along. Not only will this somewhat prepare them for life in the WWE machine, but it's a safe bet it would make for some great TV. Breaches of etiquette would occur left and right and there's a good chance some of these pairings wouldn't get along at all. Imagine a gym freak like John Cena or Cesaro having to deal with ZZ not wanting to work out?
