5. Sheamus
These days, it's admittedly pretty hard to get excited about anything Sheamus does, but if there's one Superstar he always delivered with, it's Daniel Bryan. One place that was never the case though is at WrestleMania. Their clash at 'Mania 28 was bumped to the preshow and turned into a Battle Royal, while the next year would see them finished with each other in 18 seconds, a creative decision which upset both them and fans equally as much (though it did at least help to create the Yes Movement). In his autobiography, Bryan talks at length about wanting another chance to go out there and steal the show with Sheamus on the grandest stage of them all, and before his second injury, it seemed as if the then Intercontinental Champion would get his chance to renew that rivalry (albeit not at WrestleMania despite the dirt sheets claiming that the plan at 31 was for them to lock horns again). Now, Bryan, Sheamus, and the WWE Universe are left without the possibility to ever get any sort of resolution to a feud which could very well have gone down as one of the all-time greatest had it been handled a little better. This is a rematch which probably wouldn't have ever headlined a PPV, but could have quite easily outshone whichever Superstars were at the top of the card that night...
