In all honesty, this entire list could be made up of names like Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and Sami Zayn, and while Bryan encountered those and plenty of other NXT Superstars when both he and they were working the independent circuit, seeing these matches take place in a WWE ring is something many of us have been dreaming of for some time now. While it would have no doubt been a demotion of sorts after headlining a WrestleMania, part of me always hoped that Bryan would spend some time in Orlando, showcasing the mat based wrestling skills he rarely seemed to get chance to use on Raw and SmackDown. Just the thought of him tearing things up with names like Apollo Crews and Chad Gable is exciting, and these are ultimately all matches which should have been in Bryan's future as those wrestlers and more all get called up to the main roster over the next few years. Bryan's success in the WWE has helped open the door to a different type of talent being recognised and pushed by higher-ups, so the impact he's made will still be felt by all of these up and coming wrestlers.
