8 Drastic Short-Term Solutions To Solve WWE's Ratings Woes

8. Better Utilise Brock Lesnar

If the WWE wants Brock Lesnar to remain a star attraction who brings viewers to Raw, they need to start utilising him a lot more effectively than they have been recently. As incredible as Paul Heyman is on the mic, his promos in regards to The Beast are all beginning to blur into one, and Brock standing there staring intensely into the hard camera as Heyman speaks no longer has the impact it once did. Neither casual fans nor hardcore ones got behind Brock's out of the blue feud with The Big Show, and as hard as WWE tried to sell it as a big deal, it's nothing which hasn't been seen a million times before. People aren't going to tune in to see Brock do the same thing on a weekly basis; the dominant former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is at this best when he's attacking Michael Cole or getting into a backstage brawl with The Undertaker, not dishing out suplexes for cheap pops and standing there for run of the mill promos. The WWE desperately needs to inject some life into Lesnar and make him an unpredictable force of nature who has the potential to do literally anything when he shows up. That way, when it's announced that he's set to make an appearance on Raw or a Network special, viewers will feel compelled to watch rather than being left expecting more of the same. Having Brock do something totally out of left field which drastically shakes up his status quo (some sort of despicable act returning him to heel status for example) the night after Hell in a Cell would be a good start, especially if it left his status totally up in the air and got everyone talking about what's next for The Beast Incarnate.
