8 Funniest Wrestling Fan Heckles

6. Almost A Super Heel

As the victims in the real life story regardless of the kayfabe angle, Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H probably didn't deserve a killer line from the audience cutting through the mock sincerity they were trying to whip up on the January 10th 2022 edition of Raw.

The pair were in the process of splitting as a tag team, but the scripting was so utterly risible that absolutely nobody bought the supposed sense of sadness that ideally would pull at the heartstrings rather extract some excellent patter.

In a wonderfully transparent display of WWE having almost no connection with their audience at this point (with yet more to follow when an in-arena silence was filled with noise from the old ThunderDome button), one loud voice broke the complete lack of tension by shouting "HIT HER WITH THE RIPTIDE" in reference to what many wanted to see from a hobbled and flailing 'Nightmare'.

Within seconds, A.S.H had turned on Ripley, rather than the other way around. Another glum checkpoint for the former ratings-smashing NXT Champion - she was left looking a fool for following WWE's listless booking, rather than the instruction of a bored punter.
