5. Shawn Michaels Talks Too Much

For a long time, it became a rotten habit of Kliq members to talk about how great it was being a member of the Kliq during a time that felt ancient just years removed from actually occurring.

Such was the case when Shawn Michaels returned to Raw as the new defacto leader of the nWo in 2002. Back then, nobody could have imagined that an in-ring return was on the way, and it felt increasingly as though we were all going to have to strap in for yet more post-retirement reminiscing from a guy that had done more than his fair share of it in various on-screen bits since his 1998 exit.

Tony Soprano called "remember when" the lowest form of conversation, and at least one fan agreed midway through another drab Michaels missive. Picking one of the company-mandated promo breaks, a fan yelled "GET TO THE POINT!" foreshadowing the strains of many that sat through 'HBK's comrade Triple H's own desperately dull Raw promos in the horror years to come.
