8 Great WWE Stars With Bad WrestleMania Resumes
7. JBL
JBL has performed at a total of ten WrestleManias, amassing a pretty rotten record of 2-8. His efforts between-the-ropes haven't exactly been anything to write home about, either, as he's mostly wrestled in forgettable or underwhelming matches.
The Texan's WrestleMania debut came in 1997 at the decidedly poor 'Mania 13, as he teamed with New Blackjacks partner Barry Windham to take on The Headbangers, The Godwinns and Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon. It was not a banner start to the show.
The next year he was in another pitiful tag team opener, teaming with Chainz in a woeful fifteen-team battle royal. Their team was the fourth eliminated.
Bradshaw didn't wrestle on the main card at 'Mania XV, but instead - once again - made up the numbers on the pre-show tag team battle royal. The year after that at WrestleMania 2000 Bradshaw was again involved in a multi-man match, this time the clusterkerfuffle Hardcore Title battle royal. He really seemed to enjoy leathering the members of the Mean Street Posse, didn't he?
A six-man tag with Farooq and Tazz against the Right to Censor at 'Mania X-Seven was probably the most forgettable match on that historic show, and an appearance alongside his APA brother in a four-team elimination Tag Team Title match at X8 was equally as 'meh'.
Bradshaw missed WrestleMania XIX but returned at XX to - you guessed it - wrestle in another multi-team WWE Tag Team Title match. He lost. Again.
By the time 'Mania 21 rolled around, Bradshaw was now JBL and in the midst of a lengthy WWE Title reign. He'd drop the strap on that show to a rising star by the name of John Cena. A major moment in Cena's career, but a pretty !*$% match in all honesty. JBL's United States Title triumph over Chris Benoit at WrestleMania 22 was marred by constant and unnecessary references to Eddie Guerrero and a lethargic pace.
His final two WrestleMania outings were against Finlay in an enjoyable Belfast Brawl (hardcore match) at WrestleMania XIV and a 21-second loss to Rey Mysterio at XXV. This is JBL's last singles match to date. What a way to go out.
