7. SuperCena Vanquishes Johnny Ace - No Way Out 2012
The year 2011 saw the introduction to the WWE Universe of John Laurinaitis, the real life Senior Vice President of Talent Relations. His raspy voice, stumbling and bumbling promos and general doofus nature rubbed fans the wrong way, making him one of the most despised characters in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment. Opposing popular fan-favorites such as WWE champion CM Punk and franchise player John Cena did not help matters. His feud with Cena, in particular, dominated the spring months in WWE. After signing Brock Lesnar and forcing Cena to combat the Beast Incarnate, Laurinaitis became an even bigger pain in the side of the leader of the Cenation. At Over the Limit in May, the two did battle in what was the former Johnny Ace's first match in well over a decade. The corporate butt-kisser won the match, thanks to interference from The Big Show, but he would not have the last laugh. A month later, at the No Way Out pay-per-view, Cena defeated Big Show in a Steel Cage match, thus resulting in the termination of Laurinaitis. After escaping the cage, Cena delivered a huge Attitude Adjustment to his former superior through the announce table, much to the delight of an audience known for its Cena disdain.
