8 HUGE IMPACT Rebellion 2021 Predictions You Need To Know
5. IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Titles: Fire N Flava (c) vs. Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering
The knockouts tag team division is in danger of falling down WWE's rabbit hole.
Havok and Nevaeh have split up with the latter departing IMPACT altogether, Jordynne Grace and Jazz are no more following the legendary Jazz' retirement, and Kimber Lee - teaming with either Deonna Purrazzo or Susan - hasn't been seen in weeks. Hence, the debuting Rachael Ellering will be teaming with Jordynne to challenge Fire N Flava for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships on the pay-per-view.
IMPACT EVP Scott D'Amore initially gave Jordynne and Jazz the title bout, but Jazz refused; she'd just retired, after all. Instead, 'The Female Fighting Phenom' offered up an apt replacement, which turned out to be the former NXT star.
From a stylistic standpoint, this will be good. Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz are superb singles wrestlers and even better together. Jordynne, meanwhile, worked a cracking singles bout vs. Kiera this past Thursday. Getting to see more of this at Rebellion is money in itself.
There's just one catch, though. Well, two, really. The team of Jordynne and Rachael are a makeshift pairing. It could work, but let's give Fire N Flava a longer title reign. Furthermore, Jordynne's IMPACT contract expires next month, with no word yet on if she'll be resigning. It all adds for a Hogan and Steelz title retention.
Winners: Fire N Flava
