8 HUGE IMPACT Rebellion 2021 Predictions You Need To Know
6. Last Man Standing Match: Sami Callihan vs. Trey Miguel
If there's anything IMPACT Wrestling are superb at, it's booking weapons-based encounters. Sunday's last man standing bout between Sami Callihan and Trey Miguel will be no different.
For starters, keep in mind this is Sami Callihan we're talking about. You know, the guy who literally calls himself 'The Callihan Death Machine'. A guy who made his career by going to any means necessary just to get a job done. In IMPACT alone, he's wrestled in two Barbed Wire Massacres, while a standard mask vs. hair match vs. Pentagon Jr. was a complete bloodbath at Slammiversary 2018. He'll be right at home here.
Trey Miguel is the one to watch here, though.
Ever since he returned to IMPACT in January, the former Rascal has had a newfound attitude. An attitude that has brought him great success. The origins of this Callihan rivalry were p*ss-poor if we had to attach a label to it, but more recently, things have really picked up to the point their first singles match - a regular outing on AXS TV - was a cracker.
Trey needs to win. Sami has had marquee attraction after marquee attraction ever since he came to IMPACT in 2017. Trey, meanwhile, has merely been a guy you can rely on for a good match. This is his time to break out.
Winner: Trey Miguel
