8 Huge Problems With Brock Lesnar Vs. The Undertaker At WWE SummerSlam

6. Lack Of A Proper Heel/Face Dynamic

Did The Undertaker turn heel during his return at Battleground? He ruined a perfectly good, hotly-anticipated, main event match. Moreover, he booted Lesnar right in the Jimmy Johns. Spoiling a big title match and hoofing another man in the no-nos are two pretty heelish acts, in anyone's book. Yet the fans still cheered him on. Because he's The Undertaker. Realistically, who's going to boo The Undertaker in 2015? The man has built up so much respect with WWE over the last twenty five years that there's nothing he could do that's so downright dastardly that would get the majority of fans to boo him. Brock Lesnar has been WWE's best babyface of the year. Considering how much contempt fans had for him following his ending the Undertaker's WrestleMania winning streak, that's quite an achievement. Lesnar got over as a good guy primarily because he's just so damned different from everyone else on the roster and has a legit aura that is almost impossible to duplicate. So what happens now? Does The Undertaker become a full-blown heel? Perhaps he will be revealed as the henchman of The Authority. After all, he did help Seth Rollins escape with the WWE title, yet again. Or does 'Taker now reside in a place between the established heel/face dynamic? That dynamic is blurred more than ever in 2015. But it is a dynamic that still works and is still required in order to properly draw fans in.
