8 HUGE WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 Predictions You Need To Know

3. Roman Reigns (c) Vs. Goldberg

WWE want audiences to imagine the company smashing some sort of panic button like they did the last time this match was official.

Right before the pandemic changed everything, Bill Goldberg somehow dethroned The f*ckin' Fiend of all people for the Universal Championship in an almost unbelievable act of chaos booking designed to drum up some hype from a humdrum-feeling WrestleMania. Bray Wyatt's devilish side was already in bother before that, but Vince McMahon suddenly had his heart set on a clash of ages and spears with Roman Reigns and that's what the rest of us were getting. All until it went away anyway.

It's back now, and kept short it could be an awful lot of fun. Roman's not had a good excuse to get particularly cruel outside of cracking a steel chair against Seth Rollins' back at the Royal Rumble, but Big Bill's there for a pasting assuming the heat in the building and sticking his nut on a locker doesn't manage it first.

Winner - Roman Reigns
