8 HUGE WWE Extreme Rules 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

6. Damian Priest (c) Vs. Jeff Hardy Vs. Sheamus

Jeff Hardy's inclusion in the Sheamus/Damian Priest United States Championship match was ostensibly done to jazz up a rather worn pairing. But has it really worked?

The original match felt too dull for its own good, but Hardy getting a last minute spot in it on the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw was undermined as usual by the company's haphazard approach to title contests and programmes.

'The Charismatic Enigma' was going 50/50 with Karrion Kross and p*ssing about in the 24/7 division beforehand, so a sudden involvement in a secondary title picture doesn't really feel earned. All that said, the progression of 'The Archer Of Infamy' remains steady, and a win over either former WWE Champion will only continue that quiet success story.

There's no chance he loses either, so there's at least as little risk as there is interest. All of this is so cold that this one comfort is the only glow to bask in.

Winner - Damian Priest
