8 HUGE WWE No Mercy 2017 Predictions You Need To Know

4. 5 Star

Despite a sudden change to the contest on the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw, it seems unlikely that WWE will change whatever plan they had in store for the Women's Title, instead only utilising Bayley's skill to further ensure the quality of the match itself.

Unlike WrestleMania's elimination battle that allowed three rivals to oust Nia Jax early, this has merely been billed as a fatal five-way, which suggests one fall to a finish and a likely escape for Alexa Bliss. Deserved too. An excellent champion and just about the only stable element of the show's dodgy division, a pin over Emma after a dominant display from Jax or gutsy efforts from 'The Boss' and 'The Hugger' will serve all necessary masters in the short-term.

Truthfully, the announcement of Asuka's impending arrival on Raw has left most of the disputes moot. There are arguments for all five to be a first opponent for 'The Empress Of Tomorrow', but keeping them strong in the short term is largely irrelevant if she's booked with the same dominance she was permitted to show on the developmental brand. And she should be. Bliss keeping the title now at least maintains a heel strangle hold if and when the former NXT Champion decides to strike.
