Though the saw combination of performers engaged in a phenomenal effort at SummerSlam, Raw's endless treadmill of multi-man rematches and retreads has left the coupling cold. Though the feud between The New Day and The Usos has experienced similarly frustrating repetition, their persistent pairings have felt borne more out of necessity than neglect.

As evidenced elsewhere in this article, there are other teams that could fill a high profile role in the division, but the company appears determined to push ahead with an endless loop of Sheamus/Cesaro rematches whenever they happen not to be holding gold.

Which could mean there are more contests up ahead. Rollins and Ambrose simply must retain here, if only because their reunion remains impossibly fresh despite an initial lingering that Ambrose may turn the second they appeared to be on the same page. It's definitely a storyline with potential, but whether prescient or unplanned, the split can wait a while longer yet.
