Finn Balor's feud with Bray Wyatt was destined to provide more questions than answers even before AJ Styles was airlifted in last minute to up the excitement levels by a factor of about fifty thousand.

Should wrestling fans be pondering if Finn Bálor can be quickly rejuvenated following such a woeful feud? Or if Bálor will ever be permitted to mention Brock Lesnar's name on television again? Can Bray Wyatt be recovered whenever he actually returns to television? Is that a fight even worth having? Has this feud warped our minds so much that the disappearance of a major talent only leads to celebration at the announcement of his replacement?

When Randy Orton set fire to the shack Bray once called home, he seemingly ensured Wyatt's entire career went up in smoke too. AJ Styles hasn't had the perfect 2017 either, but by comparison, he's...well, AJ Styles. 'The Phenomenal One' is wrestling's true ace, as proven by his seamless cross-brand transition for a match resulting in the figurative tossing of babies in the air and sighs of relief that Finn's career may sneak out of intensive care after all.

The result, ironically, is tougher to call, though if Balor insists on using the pumpkin paint, he's going over. Just as it wouldn't had he have been battling Bray, this is not time for the Demon to look up at the lights.

Impervious to damage of any kind, Styles is even placed to take one for the team, and his good mate Finn, in the process. Literally everybody is happy.

But, you know, get well soon Bray and all that.
