3. Nobody Is Ready For Asuka

It was a siren call heard loud and long during her celebrated undefeated run in NXT, delivered with particularly spirited vim following a p*ss easy win against Liv Morgan that highlighted how depleted she'd left the division.

As evidenced in tragic fashion since the golden era of the developmental brand was pillaged and plundered, the main roster is sadly a fickle and fallible beast. Beloved characters have been either destroyed (Bayley), devalued (Enzo Amore) or left to fester so horribly that a complete reset is required to salvage the remains (Sami Zayn).

Asuka has every chance of falling in to the exact same set of traps that have caught out so many of her counterparts, but an emphatic debut win over Emma will hopefully highlight to management, (if it's even needed), what a special talent they have on their hands.

With any luck, their battle will open the show. The audience will bristle with excitement for her entrance, and a semi-competitive affair ahead of the 'Empress Of Tomorrow' moving up the gears en route to victory. It will also give her a bit of breathing room before her far more memorable second act...
