8 HUGE WWE TLC 2017 Predictions You Need To Know

4. Age Concern

The Alexa Bliss/Mickie James angle really has been the pits.

Poor Mickie already suffered the indignity and absurdity of in-house fat shaming in her original run, and less than a year back on the main roster already sees her called out for being a 38-year-old mother in a division which apparently doesn't welcome such atrocities.

Of course, WWE will argue that as the heel, Alexa is merely making cynical and unkind observations that don't reflect the company's own outlook, but of course they do. Somebody had to call it to mind to script in the first place. The toxicity, infuriatingly, is still at large.

In attempting to fix the numerous ugly issues buried deep within the DNA of WWE, change was never destined to come as quickly as a Stephanie McMahon promo would have you believe, and this storyline (and other recent angles that would never have been green-lit for the men) is simply an example of how much work there is still to do in the diminishing 'Women's Revolution'.

Alexa will win, because it would be daft not to give her such a huge result against such an established threat. But that effectively vindicates the bullsh*t about Mickie's foibles too. Awful.

Thank goodness then, for the other women's match...
