8 Ideas For The Main Event Of WrestleMania 31

1. Leave It Alone

Maybe the WWE got it right the first time? Maybe there doesn't need to be a tweak to the main event of Wrestlemania. At Money In The Bank last June, the WWE Universe would have been perfectly happy with Roman Reigns climbing the ladder and pulling down the title instead of John Cena. When The Shield split, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose had one of the best feuds of the year, and Roman Reigns was rightfully thrust into the spotlight of the main event. So what happened from there? Obviously since then, the WWE has force fed us Roman Reigns as the next chosen one, including a controversial win for Superstar of the Year at the Slammy's. He hasn't really improved in the ring and on the mic since coming back from injury, and is being fed lines that are completely ridiculous and out of character; however, fast forward to the Monday Night Raw from the WWE Headquarters the night after the Royal Rumble. Reigns' performance with Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar in the sit-down interview impressed people. He held is own in the line of questioning, and didn't have to quote Daffy Duck or make lame jokes to do so. If Reigns continues to be himself, he can evolve between now and Wrestlemania to the point where this is a main event worth watching, and in no need of tweaking.
