8 Incredible Wrestling Paydays You Won't Believe

3. Master P ($2m - 1999)

At least Rodman (when he was awake and not resting his head on the turnbuckle) wrestled some matches for WCW. Rap artist, record producer and all-round savvy businessman Master P didn't. In fact, P barely did anything to earn his corn at all, and it's ridiculous that he was paid approx $2m.

To his credit, the rapper didn't throw pro wrestling under a nearby bus when quizzed on his ludicrous deal years later.

Master P's big role was to add some celebrity credibility to the 'No Limit Soldiers'. Members included P himself, Rey Mysterio, Konnan, Brad Armstrong, Chase Tatum and some hangers-on from the rapper's entourage; for the record, the impossibly-muscled Swoll was reportedly also paid around $400,000 for a handful of matches.

This had to be one of the most expensive wrestling stables of all time, and it didn't exactly give great returns to WCW. Fans booed the group's urban sensibilities, and much preferred the good ol' Southern boy traits of Curt Hennig and his wonderfully-named West Texas Rednecks.

All together now. I-I-I haaaaate raaap.
