8 Insane Storylines WWE Would Never Do (But Totally Should)
3. My New Cena Dad
The Problem: Kevin Owens has talked a big game about being a main event guy, but he lacks the main event image and pedigree. Giving Owens emotionally charged, personal heat with a bigger guy would make him look like an intense superstar instead of a heavyset bully. Insane Storyline: Owens is probably most known for being the guy who fights hard to feed his family. Fans will also remember his adorable son is a huge John Cena fan. Have Owens' family in the crowd for a Smackdown episode, but chaos ensues when the son wanders off. Owens has a meltdown and can't compete until his son is found. While searching the parking lot, John Cena discovers the boy hiding in the back of his vehicle. Owens' son explains he ran away and hid there because he wants Cena to adopt him and become his new dad. Cena explains he can't be his new dad and returns the kid to his parents. Owens is still steamed and accuses Cena of abducting his son to mess with his head. Denying the accusation, Cena says if Owens were a better father and wrestler, his son wouldn't have run off in the first place. To keep the two men from killing each other, HHH schedules them to fight it out in the ring. Why They'd Never Do It: The odds of Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect coming back from injury and jumping into a feud where he's accused of being a kidnapper are beyond low.
