When WWE published its list of official Draft rules on Sunday night, they included a list of all eligible WWE superstars that will be available for selection tonight. Big names like The Undertaker and Triple H and a host of injured wrestlers were left-off, but the list of eligible tag teams and groups was most telling.

The rule stating that tag teams can either be drafted as a unit or individually has already sparked speculation that a number of teams are set to disband this evening, and this was only heightened by the exclusion of a couple of notable groups.

First, The Lucha Dragons. Kalisto and Sin Cara have been teaming together since 2014, but weren’t listed as a draftable group. We’ve since learned that the two luchadors intend to go their separate ways and concentrate on singles careers after the draft, hence their exclusion, but a big question mark still hangs over The Wyatt Family.

Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, and Erick Rowan are all listed as eligible singles competitors, while the injured Luke Harper is missing entirely. “The Wyatt Family” as an entity is nowhere to be found, and there are now strong rumours that WWE are on the verge of splitting-up one of their most notable stables.

Given how poorly Wyatt, Harper, and Rowan fared after WWE’s previous attempt at splitting the Family, this is surprising. Rowan and Strowman have little potential as singles acts, and while Bray is strong enough to stand on his own, his cult leader act is severely diminished when he isn’t, y’know, leading a cult. Even though the group have been severely misused over the years, their split would be hugely disappointing.
