3. Kurt Angle Vs. Triple H In The Pipeline
Realistically, any prospective Jordan vs. Angle feud is likely to be a somewhat short-term measure, as the company seemingly has bigger plans for its recently returned former Olympian—bigger plans that may well be set in motion at Survivor Series.
With Stephanie McMahon threatening to fire Angle if he doesn’t deliver the goods this Sunday, and her husband Triple H then being added to Angle's team, it seems the company is putting the pieces in place for an Angle vs Triple H WrestleMania programme.
Again, it’s still only a rumor, but at this point, it seems like a pretty safe bet. Ryan Dilbert of Bleacher Report recently predicted that friction between the teammates “will spark a rivalry that is likely to erupt on the road to WrestleMania,” while other sources had been reporting on this one even before the reveal of Triple H as Team Raw’s fifth member.
Triple H himself has also added fuel to the fire, saying he’d “absolutely” love to get in the ring with Angle. Pretty handy, then, that as an executive member of the company’s board, he’ll have a fairly large say in whether or not that happens...
