8 Least Over WWE Wrestlers To Headline WrestleMania

It's fashionable to pile on Roman Reigns, particularly as he prepares for yet another main event match on the Grandest Stage of Them All, but if we're talking about the least over wrestlers to headline WrestleMania, it's hard to avoid putting him at number one.

The reaction that The Big Dog received three years ago - for his first date with Brock Lesnar - was almost universally negative. Not only did the crowd boo his arrival at the top of the hour, they vigorously cheered when it became clear that Seth Rollins was cashing in Money in the Bank.

All of this would have been fine if Roman was a heel, but he was supposed to be cast in the role of a never-say-die face, tasked with overcoming an insurmountable, Beast Incarnate-sized obstacle. He was only a cape short of being a fully-fledged superhero.

Vince McMahon's franchise player is a long way from being the least talented wrestler to close out the Show of Shows, but he's unarguably the least over, and will be until Jason Jordan seals his maiden world title win at next year's event.
