2. Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn has to be one of the favourites to get his Royal Rumble debut this Sunday. He was actually meant to be on the main roster last year, but injury curtailed WWE's plans. He's ended up back in NXT for now, but it isn't expected to be long before he's called up. This is man with a wealth of experience, a performer who is greatly admired by Triple H and his peers in NXT. He's absolutely ready, having already won an NXT Championship and having done just about all he can in the lower league. The Rumble appearance would also make a lot of sense in regard to Kevin Owens. The two men have unresolved business, and one rumour is that the feud will re-ignite for a match at WrestleMania. The angle for that could be set up in the Rumble match, with Zayn perhaps costing Owens.
