8 Live Observations From WWE Post-WrestleMania Monday Night Raw

6. Edge & Damian Priest Blame The Fans

Edge and Damian Priest's new union was right up the street of the fans that love that sort of thing.

Goth stuff has never not gone down well with portions of the pro wrestling audience, and plenty of people received them as obvious bedfellows when the former United States Champion appeared by his side at the end of a drab match with AJ Styles.

They wore black suits. They blamed each and every one of us. They laughed at lousy jokes. You know, like all goths.

Anyway, all of this was to solidify Sunday’s events and trigger yet another beatdown on the ‘Phenomenal One’ after Edge did the WWE cardinal sin and mentioned his family in a promo.

Babyfaces have no mates in WWE so Styles got the sh*t kicked out of him as fans were…apologetic (?) for all of the crimes they’d apparently committed to trigger all this. The WrestleMania match was a total snoozer, but get ready for plenty more - in a single segment, this felt like it was making it all the way to Hell In A Cell.
