So Goldust and R-Truth were feuding, right? That wasn’t just a figment of my imagination, correct? While at first seemingly getting a new lease on life by turning heel on his tag partner, Goldust has done precisely nothing in recent weeks on RAW. It’s obvious that Dustin Runnels is on the last leg of his in-ring career as he transitions into the role of mentor. However, he still deserves one more good run, and he could do a lot by giving some young up-and-comers the rub.

Sending Goldust to NXT would obviously give some star power to the brand. Obviously, Goldust is low on the totem pole these days, but his legendary status would bring more credibility to a brand full of lesser-known talent. Plus, Goldust’s character would pair great with the more out-there personas such as Sanity and Aleister Black. If Dustin’s career is winding down, he should ride out in style.
