7. A Tablet/Phone Exclusive Package

One step up from the free subscription, a £/$4.99 per month option is almost certainly going to be introduced. This would be exclusive to phones and tablets however, a good indication one would assume of the mediums many choose to view their content on in 2016.

For just 4.99 viewers would get everything available on the free package (obviously). On top of that, the Big Four pay-per-views would also be available, along with unlimited access to the full video archive and pre-recorded episodes of NXT. The Cruiserweight Classic would not be available with this package.

It is somewhat surprising that the Big Four would be available on this cheap package. Surely they are supposed to be the best four shows of the year, would it not make sense to give away the lesser shows that the casual fans tend to ignore anyway? The casual fan could feasibly get all of the Big Four (Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series) for less than £20 now.

The 4.99 package would also come with less commercials than the free one, albeit still limited adverts.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
