4. An Inevitable Heel Turn?

What else is there to do? The reactions are getting harder to overlook every week, and they’re getting progressively more anti-Reigns. Adult male fans can’t stand the man, and he doesn’t seem to have the passionate fanbase of women and children like John Cena does to justify his run as a top face.

As a good guy, he just doesn’t posses the promo skills or the charisma to bring in new fans, or make the current ones more passionate about the product. He needs an edge, which is exactly what a heel turn could help with. If this is the time to finally pull the trigger, then in the long run this suspension could be one of the best things to happen to him in his career. At this point, he’ll either continue to slowly lose more steam as a face, or reignite his career as a heel.

The choice seems pretty obvious to most observers. Even Vince has to realize it’s time for a change...right?
