8 Major WWE Superstars Who Hated Chris Jericho

6. Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam and Chris Jericho have excellent chemistry in the ring. Any time the two men have been paired together - either in singles bouts or tag matches - the results have been outstanding. They have complimentary styles and a track record of good matches, although RVD is much more paint-by-numbers than Jericho. When Van Dam made an appearance on Jay Mohr's podcast, the comedian host asked RVD if there was anyone he wrestled who he thought was a d*ck." Van Dam responded by naming Jericho. He said he and Chris Jericho had issues because Y2J was afraid Rob was taking his place. "According to Paul Heyman, who doesn't mind lying, he doesn't mind telling you something that's completely bullshy*, but he was telling me about these conversations that Chris would have, 'Shouldn't that be my spot? Shouldn't I be having that match?" RVD called Jericho "such a political b*tch." He added that he and Jericho got in arguments every day. He told a story about agents telling them what to do and how Jericho was concerned about getting his offense in. "That's politics," Van Dam said. "Finding ways to make yourself look better." Van Dam recalled a match when Jericho got busted open. When he went backstage Christian and Tazz told him that Jericho was pissed and was going to fight him. "I go, sweet, where's he at?" recalled Van Dam. He said Jericho threw chairs around and trapped a referee against the wall, but when he approached Chris afterward he was calm. He remembers Jericho saying he can't have more scars on his face. "I don't hate Jericho anymore by the way," Van Dam said.
