8 Massively Underrated AEW Entrance Themes

5. Leva Bates - Every Trick In The Book

Leva Bates is still signed with AEW at the time of writing. Given the recent departures of several founding roster members, such as Joey Janela, Marko Stunt and Stu Grayson, it wouldn’t have been surprising to see her join them in returning to the independents given that she’s only wrestled six times since the start of 2021.

She and Peter Avalon joined the company playing librarian characters, allegedly the result of an in-joke about there not being enough gimmicks on the show. Their shushing of the audience did little more than annoy and whilst Avalon transitioned into ‘Pretty Peter’ and formed the entertaining Wingmen faction, Bates has yet to be given another role to play.

Bar being called ‘Every Trick In The Book’, her theme thankfully has no bibliographical connotations, instead being an uplifting romp that gives out adventure movie vibes more than anything else. Given that the former Blue Pants had to approach the ring to an acoustic version of the Price Is Right Theme tune (performed by Big Cass/W. Morrissey) during her NXT tenure, it’s an audial high point for her and could easily underpin a change in character direction going forwards.
