8 Minor Changes That Would Make A Major Difference To WWE Survivor Series 2017

4. AJ Vs. Brock - No Disqualification

AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar is a true dream match.

Styles is one of the best professional wrestlers on the planet, a man at the very top of his profession and arguably one of the most influential performers of the modern age. Brock Lesnar may well be the last great draw in American pro wrestling, a once-in-a-lifetime combat athlete that makes everything feel more important.

Styles vs. Lesnar will be a thrilling spectacle at the very least, but from a purely physical standpoint it may be difficult to buy AJ against the mass of ham that is Brock. It was a similar situation faced by WWE at SummerSlam 2013, ahead of CM Punk’s match with The Beast Incarnate.

That match subsequently became a No Disqualification affair, and the same should happen here. AJ vs. Brock doesn’t have the same emotional hook that the Punk bout did, but the stipulation would go a long way to improving The Phenomenal One’s chances of chopping down his physically superior opponent.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
