8 More Former WWE Stars Who Need To Return To NXT
5. Al Snow
What does everybody want? Al Snow in NXT! What does everybody need? Al Snow in NXT!
Snow hasn't been in WWE since 2008, when he was used as an enhancement talent for the ECW brand as well as a trainer for OVW, WWE's old feeder/developmental system. Snow's credentials as a trainer speak for themselves, which is one of the main reasons WWE should consider bringing him back to work in NXT.
Since his WWE release he's worked on the independent scene and found work as a performer/producer in TNA. He's also gotten into the best shape of his life. The 52-year-old is ripped to shreds and looks about ten years younger than the last time he was on WWE TV.
Snow is someone fans remember fondly and who younger, inexperienced guys would benefit from working with. He can guide anyone to a good match and he's over enough so that the fans will be invested in it. Really, besides his connection with TNA (who seem pretty close to shutting up shop anyway), there's no reason why Al couldn't work a set of NXT tapings.
He'd need to bring Head with him, of course, but it'd be a fun nostalgia moment for longtime fans and also a valuable experience for whoever he gets to work with.
