It’s no secret Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier do not like each other. Their beef has spanned across the MMA world for years, and it seems these men are destined to be enemies forever.

The two have met twice in the past with Jones beating DC in both fights. Most rivalries would be dead after this, but not Jones vs. DC. The real reason for this is that there are so many circumstances playing factors in the drama between the two. First off, there is all the legal trouble Jones has caused for himself (which is why he was originally stripped of his title). Second, Jones’s KO win over DC in their second fight was later overturned to a no contest after Jones tested positive for steroids. Lastly, DC’s best weight may in fact be at Heavyweight.

Daniel Cormier may just be the best Heavyweight ever in MMA history. He’s undefeated at the weight class and just KO’d the dominant Stipe Miocic in the first round. On top of this, fans have wanted to see Jones make the move up to Heavyweight for quite some time. Jones is also facing the problem of running out of real challengers in the Light Heavyweight division as he just keeps beating all of them decisively.

So, it all just makes sense that should DC defend his title against Stipe we get to see Jones and DC go at it one more time. Hopefully, the fight takes place at Heavyweight and we get an epic ending to one of the best rivalries in sports.

The Iron Sheik once said, "DON'T BE A F****** JABRONI!" That advice changed my life, as I am in fact now standing here as definitely not a jabroni. Thanks for reading my stuff! #HTX Matthew 11:28
