Though many people, including Bellator president Scott Coker, have stated that they would love to see Bellator welterweight titleholder Douglas Lima face off against his champion counterpart in the UFC, Kamaru Usman, this list is about interesting stylistic matchups.

Sure, Usman vs. Lima has the potential to be a great fight, with Usman's improved striking and Lima's underrated grappling leaving both fighters with multiple routes to victory. However, few hypothetical fights leave fans salivating as much as a battle between Lima and current king of the BMFs, Jorge Masvidal.

For those who haven't had the pleasure of seeing Lima in action, the Brazilian striker really is something special. Despite debuting all the way back in 2006, Douglas is still just 32 years old and has shown some serious improvements to his game in recent years, particularly following his loss to Ben Askren in 2012.

Masvidal has also gone through a career resurrection in his last few fights. Having consistently been one of the perennial contenders in both the lightweight and welterweight divisions, Masvidal was often criticised for his almost too-relaxed style that often saw him on the wrong end of a close judges' decision.
