8 Most Devastating Current WWE Superstar Injuries

3. Eric Rowan

Yet another tag team wrestler has suffered an injury and both he and his partner have to suffer for it.

Eric Rowan rejoined his Wyatt Family brother Luke Harper after spending a few months in lower-card purgatory with little storyline progression, no major feuds, and randomly-booked matches. Things were starting to look better for him and Harper, especially as they debuted a new finisher, called ‘The Way’, which many fans recognize as the Dudley Boys’ ‘3D’. Even though there has been some minor backlash over the use of that move, it’s still an awesome move that had people talking about Harper and Rowan once again.

Unfortunately, Rowan suffered a significant arm injury and is expected to be out for around 6 months. This is a very bad time to have suffered that injury because as a team, Harper & Rowan were slowly but surely regaining some momentum. Furthermore, Harper is the better wrestler of the two, and has experience and some success with a singles career, so if the team were to disintegrate, Harper could thrive (somewhat) as a singles wrestler.

Rowan, meanwhile, lacks management support, and seems to be entirely dependent on a tag team career as of this writing. If he doesn’t recover soon enough, or if he gets injured again, poor Eric Rowan might not have any hope of a major role in WWE again.
