6. Buck Zumhofe
In the 1980s, "Rock 'n' Roll" Buck Zumhofe's disgusting secret life as a dangerous peadophile wasn't really all that much of a secret. Furthermore, despite getting time in prison for sexual misconduct with a minor, it didn't stop him getting used by the same promotions that booked him beforehand after he was released, and long into the 1990s. That so much about his real life got overlooked in exchange for being a cheap/available booking at the time.
Having first been imprisoned in 1986 for the above, he served 36 months in prison after being convicted of fourth degree sexual conduct with a minor just three years later. In 1999, he was convicted of a domestic abuse violation, which was the same year he began sexually abusing his own daughter from the age of 15 in a vile campaign that continued until June 2011. He was arrested for this in 2013, and given 25 years in prison on two first-degree and two third-degree counts of criminal sexual conduct the following year.
The timeline of his crimes overlaps disgustingly with that of his wrestling. Though he never won World Heavyweight Championship gold in the AWA, he managed to win their Light Heavyweight strap twice over separate reigns under Verne Gagne, and the stages only got bigger as he went on to be a familiar face amongst WWE's notable jobbers in the late-1980s and early-1990s. As of writing, he's still alive and still incarcerated.
