After invoking the envy of the perpetually green Triple H by becoming WWE's youngest world champion, Evolution gave Randy Orton the thumbs down, and brutally kicked him out of the stable.

Having been abandoned by all his mates, the youngster ran crying to his father, as he embarked on a solo feud with the dreaded Undertaker. Thanks to frequent distractions from Bob Orton, 'The Viper' was able to repeatedly slither beneath The Phenom's pallid skin, eventually leading to a huge WrestleMania 21 showdown between the pair.

The 'Cowboy's scheming wasn't enough to end The Streak, but he proved decisive in his son's favour when 'Taker and Randy re-aligned at SummerSlam 2005. Some 16 years after last lacing up his boots in the promotion, the 55-year-old stepped into the ring at the following No Mercy alongside Randy, the pair putting The Phenom away in a casket.

A little bout of urn-stealing further enraged The Undertaker, who finally urned his own comeuppance in the cell at Armageddon 2005, Tombstoning father and son into oblivion. It was the last we saw of Bob Orton by Randy's side.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
