8 Most Underutilized TNA Wrestlers

7. Madison Rayne

If Rayne’s first week on commentary was any indication of how good she’ll be in the future, then TNA needs to stop with this nonsense right now!

Even if she does end up being pretty decent as an announcer (which is a HUGE "if" at the moment), she’d be more worthwhile to the company in the ring.

As a face, she’s never connected in any meaningful way with the audience, but she had a solid run as a heel with The Beautiful People, and worked well as a solo act with her Queen Bee role. She drew some good crowd heat during that time, and she should just go back to what has worked for her. The Knockouts don’t have enough depth to feel like an actual division, and outside of Maria’s stable, there’s no heels to really speak of.

Rayne won’t bring the division back to its glory by herself, but placing her back into the role of a credible wrestler once again would at least go a little way into making it feel more relevant.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
